We love running cooking workshops at festivals. In fact our original launch event back in March 2010
was at the Big Green Festival in Chorlton, a hub of such great community spirit.
Since then we’ve cooked at several more festivals as part of our public programme and we’d love to do more
(although sometimes we’ve had to turn down opportunities because of the sheer volumes of work at the time or lack of funding).
It’s a great way to meet and talk to a real mix of different new people, reinforcing links with the local community,
and giving festival goers an opportunity to sample a short cooking session with us for a small fee….
and they get a lovely plate of what they’ve just cooked thrown in for the price, so that’s lunch taken care of!
