Custard
Ingredients
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 1oz Caster sugar
  • 1 Vanilla pod or 2-3 drops Vanilla essence
  • pint Milk
Instructions
  1. Mix the yolks, sugar and vanilla in a bowl
  2. Whisk in the boiled milk and return to a thick-bottomed pan
  3. Heat and stir until it thickens (coats the back of a spoon)
  4. Do not allow to boil or the custard will curdle!
