| Custard |
Ingredients
- 3 Egg yolks
- 1oz Caster sugar
- 1 Vanilla pod or 2-3 drops Vanilla essence
- pint Milk
Instructions
- Mix the yolks, sugar and vanilla in a bowl
- Whisk in the boiled milk and return to a thick-bottomed pan
- Heat and stir until it thickens (coats the back of a spoon)
- Do not allow to boil or the custard will curdle!
