Hearty Mid-Winter Wild Food Foray on Sunday 20th January at Sale Water Park

You’d be forgiven for expecting to find nothing on a forage in January, but while it may not be the easiest hunting, there are some excellent and easy-to-identify wintertime wild foods still peeping through, from leafy greens to fruits and nuts, and possibly even fungi. This walk is a great excuse to get outdoors on a cold winter’s day – but hardy foragers need to be prepared to brace the bitterness and come wrapped up warm!
