Height of Spring Wild Food Forage on 19th May in Hebden Bridge

May 19 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

£15 – £30

This springtime forage introduces a delicious selection of our native edible plants, from tender leaves to tasty roots, and some wild mushrooms. The enticing hills of Hebden Bridge beautifully showcases the mixed woodland, along babbling brooks and gullies, crossing a hidden waterfall, and up onto sunny meadows. Late spring brings an abundance of interesting plants, both culinary and medicinal.  At the end of the foray we will have a chance cook up some of our best finds for sampling – A great way to spend a Sunday!

Concessionary Guidelines

To enable as many people as possible to access our cooking classes we have introduced a 50% OFF fee for those who genuinely have little or no income. By this we mean students or those on benefits.

  • We can only provide two concessionary tickets per session.
  • As a not for profit social enterprise with no core funding, our mission is to be as inclusive as possible, so we rely upon the honesty & integrity of those booking at a concessionary rate.
  • Please negotiate concessionary rate with [email protected]

For anyone able to fund places for people in extreme hardship, we would gratefully appreciate funding to set up specific sessions in the community to address an urgent communal need.
