This mid-summer event finds us at an interesting, if unpredictable, time of year for wild foods. Expect to see a wide array of edible flowers, leaves, and even some roots. Identification is easier at this time of year as ID features are generally well-developed, making this a great opportunity for learning, and if conditions allow, we may be gifted some of summers finest wild edible mushrooms. The forage will last a little over 3 hours and will be wrapped up with some wild food sampling.
