Mid-Summer Flowering Herbs and Wild Food Foray on 19 June

June 19 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

£10 – £25

This evening foray is an ideal opportunity to learn how to correctly identify some of the tastiest summertime wild foods. Fletcher Moss Park in Didsbury has an interesting mix of habitats so even if conditions have been on the dry side, there are locations which will still come up trumps. The walk will last a couple of hours then we’ll cook up our finds at the end so everyone will have a chance to sample some of the finest offerings.

Please note! Our foraging sessions start promptly, so arrive 10 minutes before that time. It is important that you arrive on time, so that others are not kept waiting. While we always try to finish on time, there is always a chance that a foraging & cooking session could run over slightly, so please be prepared for this.

  • We can only provide two concessionary tickets per session.
  • As a not for profit social enterprise with no core funding, our mission is to be as inclusive as possible, so we rely upon the honesty & integrity of those booking at a concessionary rate.
  • Please negotiate concessionary rate with [email protected]

For anyone able to fund places for people in extreme hardship, we would gratefully appreciate funding to set up specific sessions in the community to address an urgent communal need.
