ONLINE COOK-ALONGS

Join us for a cracking good group COOKAlong where you will learn culinary classics from the comfort of your own home. Our 90-minute virtual classes can be tailored to the needs of your group – from a casual online gathering of friends and family, to a fun and interactive teambuilding activity, to an exciting and entertaining University society social – we have you covered!

Let our Cooking Leaders inspire you with their in-depth knowledge of the key ingredients of your chosen cuisine be it Modern Chinese, Indian Street Food, Japanese Sushi Making or something more traditional. You will also learn ‘tricks of the trade’ to really make your dishes shine. Got something you’d like to learn to cook? Let us know! Our team has a wealth of experience in cuisine from all over the globe.

Most of our classes can be tailored to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and pescatarian diet. PLUS we keep the ingredients and equipment needed as simple as possible, thereby keeping the classes accessible to as many people as possible.

My research team did a Cracking Good Food online cook-along for our year-end wind-up. It was loads of fun! It was the perfect event for us because we’re scattered around the country and Europe, and by now we’ve all had enough of zoom pub quizzes. The cooking lead, Sam, was great. She taught us to make dumplings, dipping sauces, and a noodle dish (yakisoba). The recipes had vegetarian and vegan options, and easy substitutes were listed for hard-to-find ingredients. The zoom format worked really well. Sam had one camera on her and a second camera overhead focused on the cooking surface so we could see what she was doing. We all had a blast and learned a lot — and it feels good to know we’re supporting the important work that CGF does. Thanks Sam and CGF!
